Combating the heat

What can I say journal? Last week I went to beautiful Gloucester and had a blast. The weather was rather wonderful but when you lug around some heavy camera bag it becomes a nice workout. Nevertheless, it was fantastic. Thanks to my meticulous planning (5 minutes on Google Maps) I set off and parked at the Quays. I strolled through the shopping mall before making my way to the cathedral and spent some quality time there. Some of the photos I put on my Instagram.

After that I went to the docks and shot some nice motives, the film should be developed soon. So expect some photos to drop in the next few weeks. I can’t wait to see them. It’s exciting to have to wait for them to come back. So anyway, after walking for 6km I decided to go to Wynchcombe. It’s a lovely little village and I really wanted to take some photos there. But the heat made me think twice about it. Whilst it was beautiful as I was driving through it, I decided not to walk and take photos there. Sometimes beauty is best to be observed and no photo would take it justice. So I decided to call it a day and went on my way home.

It still baffles me how bad the drivers are in the UK and I avoided a few hairy situations. Indicators are there for a reason people! Anyway, I made it back safe and sound and am planning a next adventure for this coming weekend.

But no more Cotswolds for now. The drive is nice but I feel it’s time for some change of scenery
