Here’s why the gear doesn’t matter

We all will hide behind a barrage of statements and beliefs that will hinder us from starting going out there and shoot our fingers off. Back in the day I always said that I needed a full frame camera and better lenses and that that’s why I couldn’t shoot what I wanted to shoot. Thankfully, that period went away pretty quickly (I think it only lasted 7 months!) and I embraced my camera and decided to go for it.

And this is one of the results. This was all shot on a D3100 with 18-55mm and 55-300mm kit lenses back in the day when the BTCC was camping at Knockhill in Scotland. The rest was pure skill and determination to make those fast shots as sexy as possible. So next time you’re debating that you can’t do that because of unsuitable gear, don’t listen to it and do it anyway! Some example shots are here:
