If you feel that you can’t photograph your surroundings at home, do this instead

Finding inspiration is great and finding shots is even more rewarding. But let’s face it, you might not live in an arera that is particularly attractive and you find that shooting here isn’t really great. So why would you do it?

If you feel that you can’t shoot locally, travel somewhere else and enjoy it! I felt the same many years ago. The place I was staying at was a pretty lifeless town and shooting there would’ve only gotten me this far. So I decided to travel every weekend to another area of the country and it rewarded me with amazing spots, beautiful experiences and memories that I otherwise wouldn’t have gotten.

So what does this mean to you? If you want to shoot something and you need to travel abroad, just go ahead and do it! Who’s going to stop you? Everything is possible and why shouldn’t you enjoy the process of taking photos? Go ahead and do it. Travel whereever you want to shoot, do what you like and see your work grow.

One day you’ll look back and think that this was the best decision you could’ve ever made.
